This tip cleaner is the most recommended for cleaning soldering tips.

Made of brass it won't accelerate corrosion on the soldering tips like a wet sponge do or a similar cleaner made of steel. 

Using it by dipping and/or rotating the tip inside between each solders prevent the oxidation and burned rosin buildup. It gives you the best thermal transfer and a wetting action of the solders. This result in a higher quality solders with a nicer look.
